Williamsburg and Jamestown Sept 17-21, 2007

Larry and Jim came up to go to Williamsburg with us. We had a blast other than poor Jim who got sick. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge and I at the ripe old age of 38 learned to boogey board surf. The kids laughed so hard seeing me surfing on their surf machine with the waves wasting me about 3 different times. The kids all got the nerve to climb the stairs to about the 6th floor and go down the two giant water slides that were open. Little dare-monster JJ flew up when I finally decided to let him and went down screaming for joy all the way down. The kids had a blast. larry bought us an extra nite at the hotel and i think we were at the indoor water park at the hotel more than we were at Williamsburg, much to my wife's dismay. Jamestown was really awesome as well. JK was fascinated by the old flintlock rifles and the original three boats were really cool. We took the ferry home and just had a great family vacation, although we were both very tired once we got home. JK and KG both were brave enough to try surfing on the boogie board and Kody tried it like 5 times and did pretty good.
